Maj. Gen. Jeff Smith, commanding general, U.S. Army Cadet Command, visited the 2013 Leader Development and Assessment Course at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash. from June 19 through June 20 to observe Cadet training. According to Smith, LDAC is important because Cadets complete development activities in large, situational environments that aren’t readily available back on campus.
