The Operation Warrior Forge Public Affairs Office is scheduled to host a special Independence Day media spectacular, July 4, from the 2013 Leader Development and Assessment Course at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash. featuring live-stream video broadcasts, real-time social media updates, high resolution photos and recorded video shout-outs of Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Cadets to their family and friends back at home.

Starting at around 8 a.m. PST, the Independence Day coverage will kick off with photos, video and social media updates live from the Seattle Tacoma International Airport, Seattle, Wash. where Cadets from the 11th and 12th Regiments will be arriving from universities across the country. Around 10 a.m. PST a live-stream video broadcast will kick off from one of the buses transporting Cadets from the airport to JBLM with messages from Cadets about this year’s course, their preparation leading up to LDAC and their goals for the summer.

Visit the 2013 LDAC WordPress, Twitter, Flickr, Smugmug, Youtube, Ustream, and Facebook pages to view our comprehensive Independence Day coverage and come back throughout the summer to view this year’s expanded coverage of the Army’s largest intra-continental training exercise. Any updates or changes to the Independence Day coverage schedule will be posted to the 2013 LDAC Facebook page along with details on where to find more information.
